The Five Fields
The transformation of a corner building in the Chelsea Conservation Area into a discreet high quality neighbourhood restaurant. Internal alterations were carefully balanced with subtle improvements to the exterior, to ensure that they complemented the historic setting. The facade of the original building was retained, and a new basement formed to house the kitchens. A highly refined approach to the services design was required, to meet strict planning requirements and ensure coordination with the bespoke internal finishes. The fitout was developed in collaboration with interior designer Robert Angell.
